Outfit Post - Christmas Goodies

Hello Lovelies,
Just a quick outfit post to show you some of my lovely new purchases :)

Shirt - Topshop, Skirt - Oh My Love, Tophandle Bag - Magenta

I love this shirt, so I think you guys will be seeing alot more of it (also sorry if my bra offends you, I know some people dislike bras being on show). I already have lots of outfits in mind for this shirt :) It's currently £12 in the Topshop sale. My skirt was £12 from the Ark sale, its so pretty! The fabric is great and its pretty stretchy which is prefect to hide my Christmas food baby haha

The bag below was a gift from my boyfriend :

Another purchase I made over the holidays are the shoes below:

These were just £16- Find them here

Have a lovely day!

Outfit Post - Doc Martens

This is the outfit I wore yesterday (and boxing day actually) to go sale shopping. I like to wear flat shoes and a dress/skirt whilst clothes shopping to make it easier when trying things on, the last thing I want is to be on the floor trying to peel off my skinny jeans (from experience this isn't the best idea).

I'm wearing my Primark pleather skirt, which I hear is in the Primark sale for just £5, I'm pretty tempted to get another one if it is. I have paired it with my brand new Hologram Dr Martens (from my lovely boyfriend).

Have a lovely day!

Christmas Presents

Hello you lovelies
I know I mentioned in my last post some of the lovely presents I was lucky enough to get on Christmas day, but I thought I would share some photos (of the fashion items not my many DVDS).

First of all for those of you that haven't  already, go and check out the jewellery at Regal Rose! I want everything!

Secondly, the Topshop jewellery is all now in the sale so I would go visit your nearest Topshop if you haven't already :)

Here a few of the things I've got myself in the sale this year (so far):

Floral Shorts £15, Top £12 and Ring £3 - Topshop
Brown Shorts £12.50 and patterned Skirt £12.50 - Ark
Pencil Case £4 and Perfume - Boots

What have you lovelies treated yourselves to this year?

Just a quick note to those of you that were interested in the Nottingham Street Style feature on my blog, I haven't forgotten! I have been out a couple of times with my camera, but I decided that I would wait until the new year as most people have several bags and were clearly rushing around Christmas shopping. So January will be my first street style post

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Merry Christmas!!!

I hope you are all having an amazing day! I have been up since 7am with my little sister about bursting with excitement to see if Santa had been. She's had a lovely time but she did get some terribly annoying toys, if any of your younger siblings has a teacup pig, I feel your pain!

Mrs Santa (aka mummy) was very good to me this year :) I got lots of delicious jewellery and vouchers. 90210, Misfits and How I Met Your Mother on DVD along with a years subscription to Vogue!
I hope Santa brought you everything you hoped for.

A lovely present from my big Sister :)

Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas Eve

Well hello lovelies,
I hope you are all as excited about Christmas as I am... I have a 6 year old sister so Santa is still a part of my Christmas day and I have no idea what the chubby fellow is bringing me this year!
I do however know what my boyfriend got me as we had our own mini Christmas morning today :

He also got me a Tatty Devine cat ring, and a Top handle bag, which I'm sure will be in a future post!

Also a less Christmassy item but a new Tee I got the other day :

I wanted it after seeing a similar one on 'Effiesmakeupbox' Christmas Wishlist
Its a childs t-shirt but the extra large fits fine :)
Find it here

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!!
Good luck in the January Sales as well lovelies, if you are anything like me I shall be there on Boxing Day morning with my Christmas money/Vouchers!

Outfit Post - Midi

So Midi skirts are something I find very unflattering on myself and probably will not be purchasing any time soon, but I thought it would be nice to try one out. I've pulled up my maxi skirt into a bandeau midi dress and added a black belt.

I feel a little odd in a skirt this length, it makes me feel a little frumpy because I'm sure those of you that have been following me for a while have noticed I have a lot of short shorts and skirts.

Any way here is my attempt at styling a midi:

Hat + Belt - Primark, Dress/Skirt - Primark, Cardigan - Vintage Warehouse

Bag - My Sisters, Shoes - Miss Selfridge

I may attempt a midi in the summer or when I visit China in June :)

Giveaway Winners

Just a quick post to announce the winner of my Christmas Giveaway which ended last night.

The winner of the first prize is the lovely Kirsty from 'Silent Sweetheart'

The Runner up is Amy from 'Babyface'

Thankyou to everybody that entered!

Outfit Post - Casual Weekend

Coat - New Look, Tee - Magenta, Headband - New Look

Jeans - Zara, Converse (old)

Afternoon you beauties
This is a pretty casual outfit which I wore today to try and finish off my Christmas shopping... I
literally have gift bags and one necklace then I am done!
So excited for Christmas:)

I don't often share my cosmetics with you but here is a Christmassy eyeliner for you :

I used '17 Starry Eyes Glitter Liner' in black as it is on offer for £2.99 in Boots
I also used the liner brush after I did my mascara on my lashes for extra shimmer :)

Are you lovelies excited for Christmas? Hows the Christmas shopping going?

p.s) I just joined tumblr recently, send me your links if you have one please :)

Fluffy Hat

I got this hat from H&M the other day when I was really cold, it is in the sale for £5 and it's also available in brown. It makes my eyes stand out a little more I think, I'm in love and keeps my ears toasty :)

Also I was in Miss Selfridge today, I really want these:

I have £65 Christmas money off my grandparents so I have the money but I'm not sure whether to go for practicality over beauty... but the fact that these are only £35 in the sale is out weighing my need for flat shoes!

I'm tempted to go back tomorrow in the hope that the last size 7 is still there..
What would you lovelies do?

p.s) I have a project at uni which requires us to create a personality survey, it would be amazing if you could take 10 minutes to answer the quesions

DIY - Christmas Jumper

I just wanted to share with you a simple DIY which I did today and it only cost £6!!

Outfit Post - Mis-Match

Faux Fur - Wild, Hat- Primark, Boots - Debenhams

Cardigan - Primark, Labyrinth Tee - Truffle Shuffle

Shorts - Ebay (here)

Hello you Beauties :)

This is actually an outfit I wore the other day but I've not had chance to post it at all yet. It's a mis match of items that shouldn't work (and probably dont in some of your eyes) but I feel like it turned out alright in the end. I wanted to wear my Labyrinth Tee but then came across the shorts which I hadn't wore yet and after deciding which one to wear I just threw them on together and off I went to Uni.
I love this hat at the moment, it keeps me snuggly and warm but its also the perfect 'bad hair day' solution!

ps) I recently started using Tumblr with a few outfit photos, inspirations etc,

Outfit Post - New Winter Items

Riding Pants - American Apparel, Boots- Primark

Pleather sleeve top - Magenta
Hello Lovelies
This is just a quick post to show you my two new items, I got for £10 each! This pleather sleeved jumper is perfect, I love the colour and the sleeves give the outfit abit more of an edge. The sleeves are slightly too big but for a cheap £10 jumper I'm not complaining!
I also purchased this shaggy cardigan, I'm in love:

I was lusting after a cardigan like this majorly after seeing the gorgeous Giselle from Style of a Fashionista here, mines not quite as amazing as the Topshop version but its keeps me warm and looking pretty :)

Note (10/12/11):  The oversized clutch giveaway is the lovely Heather from EffiesMakeupBox

Accessories are a perfect way to bring together an outfit, especially a good handbag. The latest bag seems to be the Top Handle Bag as seen on fashion icons such as Alexa Chung and Rachel Zoe. So I have taken to the highstreet to find the best ones available!

New Look : 1   2   3   4   5   6

Here are quite a few satchel style bags in New Look at the moment which is perfect to recreate Alexa Chungs style.

Topshop:  1   2   3   4   5   6

Here Topshop have a nice selection of bags as usual but there are several styles of Doctor bag.

ASOS : 1   2   3   4   5   6

Asos is perfect if you are looking for a splash of colour.

So what do you all think to the Top Handle bags at the moment?
I personally would like a small one for nights out :)

Asos Ear Cuff

This came through the post yesterday morning from ASOS while I was out, it cheered me up when I got home from a horrible day of uni! I'm in love, I did ask my Mummy Santa for one for Christmas but I couldn't resist this one for £7.50, it has since gone back up to £10 but you can purchase one here.

This is what I wore yesterday, I paired my DIY studded denim shirt from Primark with a snuggly jumper.

H&M - Leggings

I hope you are all having a lovely December so far, and good luck with the Christmas shopping!
For those of you that haven't entered already I'm giving away a brand new oversized clutch bag.

Harness/Cut-out dress

I'm really lusting after a harness style dress or top, so I thought I would share some photos with you and see if I should splurge or not!

Asos Dress

Fashion Union Dress

I'm more attracted to the top half of the dress really, It would be lovely as a top that I could tuck into and skirt I'd like. So I considered a DIY but I'm not sure I could recreate this, so I had a little look around:

Topshop Corset

So I'm not entirely sure what the plan is yet, but I'm in love with the dress! But then the corset is really versatile.
